Generational Pastor
Jon came to Radiant Church through the wonderful working of God. As a young person, he walked away from God and found his life spiraling out of control due to drug and alcohol abuse. On March 14, 1999 at a Radiant church service, the Holy Spirit gripped his heart and Jon found himself weeping at the altar and surrendering all to Jesus.
Through the influence of his brother-in-law, mentor, and pastor, Lee Cummings, Jon pursued the call of God on his life by attending Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa Oklahoma. After returning to Michigan, Jon interned at Radiant Church and eventually joined the Radiant staff in June of 2004 as the youth pastor. For almost five years Jon has been passionate about reaching this generation for Jesus.
In January of 2009, Jon became Sr. Associate Pastor of Radiant Church and now oversees much of the day-to-day operations as well as aiding Pastor Lee in executing the vision of the church. Jon’s desire is to see people become fully devoted followers of Jesus by allowing the power of the Holy Spirit to lead them and the power of God’s word to transform them. Jon is continually humbled by what God is doing in his life and is honored to be part of such a healthy life giving church body.
Jon has been married to his incredible wife Kendra for almost nine years and has two beautiful daughters, Ava and Adalyn.
