Today’s culture is completely “high tech and low touch.” It celebrates and promotes individualism over community. Privacy and seclusion are valued over connection. However, God didn’t design us to live our lives alone. He created us for relationship with Him and with others. We were made to belong and to be part of a community—a group of people living life together. That’s why we have Community Groups. At Radiant Church we offer groups focusing on developing community, relationships and spiritual growth.
Community Groups center on people. Groups can form around a stage of life, common interest, location, or topic. Community Groups are a place where people encourage, support, and pray for each other, grow in their relationship with God, fellowship and “do life” together. Some groups are ongoing and others are semester based. Semester based groups run anywhere from 6 – 12 weeks and begin and end within the Community Group semester. Semester terms are Summer (June - August), Fall (September - November) and Winter/Spring (February - May).
